Francis Chen, founder and president of Franz Collection Inc., is recognized worldwide as a successful artist and entrepreneur.

Following his vision to revive the Chinese porcelain art, Chen - who majored in German Literature while attending university and was given the German name "Franz" by his professor - adopted his college nickname and created his own collection of fine porcelain tabletop and decorative accents. His products can now be found in a variety of locations across United States, Canada, Asia, Europe, UK, Australia, and New Zealand.

Since creating Franz in June 2002, Chen's operations include sculpting and design centers in China, Taiwan, Europe and the United States.

Franz Artist Junnie Fu was so excited about her visit to The Pear Tree (during her first visit to America). We had a sign made announcing her visit and she now has the sign in her studio in Tiwian. 
Junnie designed and crafts the Poinsetta flower Christmas candle holders and plates, among other items.
When Franz Artist Nina Yang visited The Pear Tree a large number of central Florida Franz collectors arrived to meet her. (below)
Local Floral artists from Abracadabra Florals in Merritt Island added 'wow' the Franz vases with a demonstration on how to arrange fresh florals in Franz vases.
